@Roland Hi roland. Pretty sure it's after the finish line only ... certainly looks the case from the way they devour their burgers when they get ashore
@Anette in Sweden Another great day for the two Martins...
Our helicopter is going up again in a few minutes for more shots of the Groupama run-in to the finish
@Anette in Sweden I'm sure there'll be quite a few beers drunk this afternoon ... not to mention the caipirinhas
Franck Cammas, Brad Marsh, Martins Krite and Stromberg are the guys on deck now. Franck looking relaxed and chatting with media boats. Staysail down now. Going at 4 to 4.5 knots.
@@oinavlis Within the last few miles now. We estimate that they are around 45 minutes away from the finish line
@Commodore Keith Morning Seattle...
It was belting it down with rain here an hour or so ago but brightening up now ... we should get some nice stills of Groupama limping home
From Justin on the water: Now about half a mile offshore. 3.5 miles from finish. Boat is off infinity resort now and setting up to gybe. More crew coming on deck. Jib lowered half way to get past inner forestay on jury rig. Mainsail swung over. Jib back up and gybe completed.
@Chris Hi Chris. It;s definitely something we hope to have between now and the end of the race. It's still in beta, however, and we weren't confident that all the info was accurate on Friday.
Groupama now just 1.5 nm from the finish line, though they have to make at least one gybe. Half an hour to go, according to the best brains out on the water.
From Justin: Little more breeze now so picking up speed. 1.4 nm from finish. Est 35 mins. Sun is out. Local police ribs (2) have joined in following. Just
passing astern of a huge tug now. Looks like two more gybes to the finish.
And just spotted "we love Punta del Este" written in marker pen on large white
sail repair patch at top of mainsail.
Yann Riou on deck filming now. Several crew lining left of boat looking at
Itajai and pointing. Brad just asked us how the Caipirinhas are.
@Chris I'm afraid there's no live video for arrivals. Next live TV event will be the in-port race on April 21.
